Job Seekers

Teamwork Makes The Difference

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average worker currently holds ten different jobs before age forty, and this number is projected to grow. It’s important that every Job Seeker we work with learns the skills necessary to find, secure and retain employment. Our Job Coaches work with each Job Seeker in building those skills so they can be self-sufficient. Areas of skill development are:

  • Career exploration as it relates to a Job Seeker’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Job search
  • Resumes
  • Cover letters
  • Applications
  • Application assessments
  • Interviewing
  • Employer expectations and soft skills
  • Workplace communication and conflict resolution
